Colombian footballer James Rodriguez has announced the launch of his own cryptocurrency, JR10 Token, developed by fintech company SELFSELL, which aims to 'build stronger fan relations and create new growth driven power for global sport market'.

Rodriguez, the first active football player to launch his own cryptocurrency, announced the news during the speech of SelfSell Founder & CEO, Yuan Li, at the BlockShow 2018 in Berlin.
